I have an 8 year old pacific energy model 27. I was wondering what maintenance or cleaning that needs to be done to these periodically. Last summer when cleaning the inside flue pipe I took out the top plate and checked it out but that's about it. Do y'all ever vacuum out the draft system? I'm not 100% sure where the air actually flows in this thing. The manual isn't that clear. The door seal is still the original but seems to seal well yet.
