Stove Recommendations?????

We are adding a room over our garage that will be used as an office as well as there will be a walkin storage area in the rear.
The office area is roughly 16x28 or approx. 450 sq ft.
We are not going to run heat into it from the furnace as we don't usually use the furnace for heat as we have 2 pellet stoves that heat the home.

So to get heat into the room we are looking at the Jotul GF 300 DV Allagash stove w/the optional blower unit and wall mounted thermostat.
Seems like it should be plenty of heat for the intended area. Would probably leave it set at about 45 during the colder Winter months. When the wife is going to use it she'll just crank It up to 68-70 and should be good to go in about 1/2 hour or so. I think. LOL

My biggest question is the choice.
Is this a good stove? What do most consider the best gas stove? Etc etc.

The place that sells the Jotul stoves also sells Vt Castings and Hearthstone.
He recommends and his opinion is that the Jotul is the better of the 3.

Oh yea, another ?. Best to vent out the roof, the wall, not matter? I like the idea of the look through the roof. Any problems with that option?

So what say all you gassers.

The Allagash is a nice stove & if you insulate the area well enough, it should heat it well. I think you'd be better
off with a ceiling fan, rather than the blower unit, & I'd try it that way first. The blower can be easily added later,
if you think you need it. Vertical venting is not an issue, & I like the woodstove/connector pipe look myself.
As long as the flashing is installed correctly, there should be no issues with venting it that way.
