  • Active since 1995, Hearth.com is THE place on the internet for free information and advice about wood stoves, pellet stoves and other energy saving equipment.

We strive to provide opinions, articles, discussions and history related to Hearth Products and in a more general sense, energy issues.

We promote the EFFICIENT, RESPONSIBLE, CLEAN and SAFE use of all fuels, whether renewable or fossil.
Well we bit the bullet and bought the T6. I gave my reasons (not that I had to) for getting the bigger firebox and they were surprisingly receptive to the idea. Not to say they were converted to that way of thinking but at least they were being open minded about it.

The real world results will have to wait until next winter. I'll post pics of the stove once installed. Thanks again for everyone's feedback and suggestions which supported us in our decision. Cheers!
