Years ago, the term "studio fireplace" was not uncommon, people often had smallish fireplaces, built in to walls, often at above waist height with glass doors. Have such fallen out of fashion? jccampb

Some of the new gas vent-free units are quite small and are often used below TV's and in similar areas. Electric and Alcohol fireplaces are also used for many of these installations.
There are several picture window gas fireplaces available.
