Superior DRT 3033 questions

I am installing a new Superior DRT3033 (electric) unit in my home and am having some issues.
1. There is a beeping noise coming from behind the access panel
2. The wall switch has on/off and high/low switches. The high/low switch doesn't seem to change the flame.
3. When I first turn the fireplace on, condensation forms on the glass which disappears within a minute or two of operation.

Any help and guidance is much appreciated!

Gave them a call, seemed stumped. Called my distributer who also seems stumped. Will update if I hear anything

Distributor called me yesterday to let me know they are replacing the internal "computer" (not sure exactly what the part is called). Assuming I remember to ask what part they are replacing, I will update.
