Anyone using one? I'm installing mine tonight. Hopefully this unit works as advertised

I want to decrease my electrical consumption. I ave to see what's the best way to set it up.

Huh, they still got the bee on there.
I got an HEC-2 that brings water from storage to the house loop. Its a little loud at first till it backs down to about 12 watts. I like it.
Interested to hear what you think.
Oh the programmng on mine is miserable to do. I forgot about that part. Good luck!

I put in 4 bumble bees last year. LOVE them. So much quieter, and less power. We'll see how far the solar credits stretch this winter. Their use keeps my storage tanks much more stratified as well.

Finally installed. Does the LCD stay on at all times? Mine was off when not in use

let us know how the programming goes. the bumblebees were a nightmare, to the point where I quit using them if I couldn't just use them in their factory setting 30 degree delta T mode. that said, I've never had a failure with them, other than when the sensor plug fell out and it defaults to "not running at all" not good when it's a mission critical part of a system.
now I zip tie them in place.

LCD off when there's no power... in my delta T setting they run wide open (about 42 watts) for two minutes, then adjust for temp.
