I just moved into a new house that has a gas fireplace, there is a yellow gas hose coming out the side of the house. I am going to buy a 40lb propane tank for it, what do I need to hook it up, this is my first gas fireplace.
Thanks
You would need a regulator, probably a win stage would be fine, with a pigtail, and you absolutely want someone to test the gas system. Most suppliers in my area won't sell gas system components to the general public. So, in short, your best bet is locating a gas contractor who can provide the components, install them and test everything to be sure it's safe.
