Well, here it is. I finally have a fire roaring. 2 years of planning , building , and then rebuilding. The Tarm solo 60 in my attached garage with a 7'x11' enclosed boiler room with 5/8" firecode walls and a 36" steel fire door. I piped a 4" PVC fresh air intake with a U trap to the outside. 18' of 7" Hart & Cooley class A pipe. Boiler has a 8" collar, but I reduced it to 7" due to getting a great deal on the stainless pipe. I hope that 7"does not effect performance.
The pressurized storage consists of three 370 gallon glass lined hot water storage tanks I was able to obtain used, but in excellent condition. All pipeing is 1.25" and tanks are plumbed in reverse return. A 26-99 grundfos is used for the boiler circ and a grundfos Alpha is used for my zones. Zones consist of a coil in my forced air furnace, a sidearm exchanger on my DHW, and a zone for the shop loop which will be pumping to a stainless shell tube exchanger. The shop is 150' away with 1.25" thermopex buried 3 feet underground lying next to a 1.25" conduit with CAT 5E contoll wire. Shop is equipped with 6 loops of Hepex O2 barrier infloor tubing that are 270/ft each. 1.5" high density foam surrounds floor and sides of the grade beam slab.
I want to thank everyone who helped answer all my stupid questions over a two year period. I have to insulate the tanks and finalize controls yet,but my upstairs is 75 degrees right know. I will try to post more pics in the future.
Thanks for all your help.
