It's a good day!

Even though it was 8 degrees this morning I had to get out and give my new gear a workout.
- Laborville Extreme Chaps -X-mas gift - Thanks mom/dad/sister
- Fiskers X-27 splitting ax - My gift to myself
- A newly sharpened chainsaw chain

Cut/split/stacked 1/4 face cord of wood - chaps were comfortable, ax worked so nice, far better than my Home Depot weights-a-ton maul and the chainsaw cut through the Black Walnut like hot knife through butter.

Yea, 1/4 face cord is not a lot - recovering from hernia surgery so I'm still taking it easy.

Stove room currently 92-degrees.

Have fun out there

Those chaps will be a lot hotter come summer though.
