The Viagra trick

I'm sure everybody has seen the viagra commercial where the rancher gets stuck in the mud and has to hook up his horses to pull him out. Well I'm at the cabin and I'm trying to back the trailer up the driveway to load up some tree length logs . The front tire slips in to the ditch on the side of the driveway and of course , screwing around , I put the back tire in too. I have the tractor with the Farmi skidding winch on it ,so I pull the tractor up in front of the truck, hookup the chain to the skidding cable, tie on an extra length of rope ,and winch the truck out . Works like a charm . This is the second time I've had to do this when getting wood in the middle of winter.

If you had a chevy it would not of been a problem. I have a similar ford and it blows in the snow.

Well , I could have horsed the crap out of it and got it out , but I'm by myself and 50 miles from home.

If it were a Chevy, like my 2013, the tractor would of ripped the nose off it.....(not impressed with my new truck)

I have new tires , only 5k on them , Cooper ATP , not an aggressive tread . I didn't mention that I have a trailer hooked up with about 12 24ft logs on it . The driveway slopes down and the ditch gets deeper the farther you go down .It was up to both axles, smarter to take a little time to get it out, than wreck something that is way too expensive.
