Thermostat for PE Summit insert?

Still waiting on the delivery of my PE insert (another story) but when it DOES arrive maybe next week, wondering if anyone has had any success w/ wiring a thermostat via the Summit's fan rheostat. Might be good for those long overnite burns. Thanks.

Edit: Ooops..Looked at the PDF. Looks like it IS thermostatically controlled. My bad.

The fan on the PE Summit can automatically come on due the heat of the stove. Not sure what you are actually asking
