Is there a good generic thermostat thats wireless and maybe programable that will work with most any stove or do i need to get one specifically for my St. Croix York insert?
The thermostat on my Traditions stove out in the shop looks rather generic but it came with the stove.

Is this the same thing? Basically a remote/thermostat rather than a wall mounted thermostat?
Hmmm...interesting idea.

Can't comment on that unit Clay....I'm tending to say that it won't work the way you want, if it will work at all.

You'll have to wait for some of the more electronic-types on the board to chime in.

But besides, why not just get the SkyTech I mentioned above? Same price, and it's something that we know will work on most, if not all, thermostat-ready pellet stoves.

I'm not sure, but if you follow the above link, or the one below these should both work for you. The one below is programable for $10 more shipping included.

The 3301P says nothing about working with 110v systems....at least i didn't see it.

St. Croix installation instructions say it hooks to standard 2 wire stat. The skytech should work no problem.

I have a St. Croix, you need a milivolt thermo not 110v.

10-4 that.
Thanks!

Just ordered the Skytech 3301P...$108.00 delivered.

I got the Lopi Yankee with Lopi's wireless remote. Hated it. I went thru 2 remotes last season and gave up on them. During the night it would turn on the stove and then not turn it off until I awoke with the house over heated in the 80's. I finally broke down and bought the Skytech 3301P. LOVE IT!. It never misses a beat. No more worrying about the stove getting stuck on. The Lopi wireless remote is the only part of the Lopi stove that I hated.
