Thermostats are discussed frequenly in this forum. I've been working on air purging my boiler and I got this message from Ecobee:

<name>, you have an alert message from ecobee for thermostat: Upstairs (<thermostat ID>):
There maybe a problem with the Furnace. For the past 2 hours the thermostat has been calling for heat, but the room temperature has decreased by 3.0F.

I find it fascinating. I think it's something they just started.
