I'm new to pellet stoves. Where is best place to buy thermostat for king/Ashley 5500m? Does your air intake need to be outside or is inside ok?

Not sure about where to get the thermostat.
As far as combustion air, if you draw it from INSIDE
the envelope of the house, it will have to be replaced
with OUTSIDE air. You will probably feel MORE drafts
around doors & windows & even thru your electrical
outlets & switches...Drawing combustion air thru an OAK
will mitigate those drafts...

An air-wash feature allows a stream of air to leak in and create a curtain of air between the glass (neoceram) and the fire. This keeps the glass cleaner longer.
