Thoughts on this rebuilt kit - 036 engine/crankcase

I've got an 036 that needs a P/C.
Found this on ebay. Doesn't seem like such a bad way to go. I would do the swap for the learning experience.
I figure I'd have $175 in parts if I bought them and I wouldn't have the spare crankcase like I would if I bought the ebay kit.
What are some of your thoughts? Things I should consider?

It says refurbished cylinder.......not sure you can do that as it would cost more to replate it then what its worth. It still has old seals and crank bearings in it too.

I say I would not do it.

I have these kits in 5 saws of my own and about 10 customers saws.

Rob is right on the mark. I'd get the Bailey's kit and be good to go for less $$. These are more than decent parts with a known history / track record.

I did score an 036 pro piston / cylinder and top cover a few years ago that I put on an 034 that was hammered. (but for about $ 75.00) It still runs great and is one of my favorite saws.
