so, like last time, I headed for the woods. The good news is, no real freezing rain, and no power interruptions. The bad news is the Oak rounds were I'd guess 120# and my back is killing me. So I guess it's Boiler Porn for me tonight 8-/

Anyway . . . I decided that, since both times I overheated, the damper was closed, I don't think the damper is hanging up. I KNOW that the first time it overheated it was because of no circulation from the pump not having power. I am still trying to decide if the GW had more air in it the second time than I thought, or if the pump is intermittently going. I have been watching the reservoir sight glass very carefully. So far I see no coloration from backwashed antifreeze, and no lowered level from replenishing for the fantom air.

I'm figuring on Murphy's law that the pump is going. Obviously if I had flow sensors in there, I'd not have to guess. This is almost as much fun as guessing a woman's weight and/or age. Definitely going to be Boiler Porn!!

Did you p/u a spare circ yet? Sounds like a good thing to have on hand. I p/u a 3 speed taco for less than I could get a 007 on line from Patriot Supply (I think it was off EBay).
