Through the wall (Heat-Fab Saf T)

Anyone here familiar with this thimble?

We got to replace a very bad setup at an old cabin. It currently has a 6 inch terra-cotta pipe passing through a combustible wall into an outside masonry (block) chimney. Makes me shiver just to look at this setup.

Been researching the Saf T thimble. It seems to fit the ticket, but does anyone have experience or knowledge of an install with it?

I can't seem to grasp how it would hook up to an interior DSP (doublewall) stove pipe.

We want to reline the chimney with SS liner with the TEE snout coming through the Saf T thimble and connecting/transitioning to the DSP somehow.
Is that even possible?

I havnt used one of those thimbles in a long time so I don't remember the specifics. But I know they work. If you can find one the Olympia thimble is the easiest by far to work with that I have found

This is the same thimble that someone else had a thread on earlier, and was very satisfied with, and I believe he got it for less

Well, I REALLY appreciate your post because I do like that Olympia Thimble but I just couldn't find it anywhere.
I was even on Rockford's site earlier and didn't see it there. So, thanks.

I do believe I may change our plans from the Saf T thimble to using the Olympia one.
Rockford's pricing seems very good too. Even cheaper than the Saf T thimble.
