When I bought my stove I didn't like the lift tool for cleaning the exchanger rods so for a few dollars I made something that worked better. It consists of a 30 inch piece of decorative chain and 2 heavy duty key chain rings. Its cool enough to pick-up, won't get lost and both rods can be lifted simultaneously.

Yes indeed, Very neat idea! Probably could be used on many stoves too!
