I know, this isn't some big oak that Scotty found laying in a cow pasture but thought I would share pics with everyone.
At one time this wood was from the local mill. Friend of mine somehow got his hands on this wood and gave it to me to use in the evaporator this sugaring season. Of course it's kiln dried very small pieces but should great. When we loaded it on my 3/4 ton truck it squatted pretty good. It was all stacked tight in this makeshift storage bin but what a pain to unload it. I stacked about 1/3 cord in the sugar shack and the rest I threw in the 5x10 trailer.
Pallet Pete, Backwoods Savage.....when you come over this sugaring season be sure and bring something to put your share in and take home!
Think I will save some for my wood stove as well, should make nice kindling.
