We purchased this insert last yeat to replace an older Country c310 and are highly disappointed as to the amount of heat it produces. Does anyone have one of these and can give your feedback.? All the wood we burn is 3-4 years seasoned inside our barn.

What model NextGen insert is this, medium or large? My guess is that this is not a fair comparison. The C310 was a big beast that projected nicely onto the hearth by 9" for more radiant heat. The firebox could hold more fuel too. The NexGen med and large are flush inserts and mostly convective, requiring the blower to be running to move the heat.
