The weather says we're in for a band of snow that is currently making its way across PA that will bring 50 mph gusts _g Any hearth.com'ers out that way seeing it now? Tending the generator in subzero temps on Sunday/Monday will really suck if it comes to that-good thing I have plenty of ether :p

Way South of you but the winds blew in here an hour ago. Top gust so far 43 MPH and they are promising us 55-65 MPH around midnight.

It came off the lake today like a banshee. Had white out conditions for an hour straight around noon. You couldn't see 40 feet in front of you . I happened to be back in the yard with the big rig when it hit so I waited it out. then headed out the rest of the day. Gusts prolly hit 50 for awhile around noon but settled to 30 the rest of the day. We got around 4-5 inches in that 1 hour. Came out of the NW so its heading Jersey way.

Snow squal just blew through here. Sounded like a freight train coming through. Got an interesting video off the security camera of snow in a 50 MPH wind. Looks like an exploding hornets nest.

Back here in Ohio it came through winds between 45 to 50mph and white out conditions.Temps dropped a good 20 degrees in hour and a half.
