trivet recomendations?

Looking for some links as to what kinds of trivets you are using to put a pot or kettle on, just to add some humidity to the room. Don't want any rust stains or problems.

I have a couple pieces of slate that was left over from the hearth install. It works real good.

I'm looking for the same. Something that has a lip in case of a boil over or over filling.
 
You could use these Mr. Bill trivets. If things get too hot he calls out, "Ohhh Nooo!"

Seriously though, I refill my humidifier while it's on the stove to eliminate scratching up the surface. I do a lot of cooking on top of mine also and drips just burn off. It'll all be cleaned and repolished at the end of the season. Try to relax and have fun with it.
