It was so mild for the last few days we didnt have to run it. Now they are calling for snow tonight

Ours is running as I type.

Kicked mine back on last night too. Running now. Still have plenty of pellets and I've been working outside in the cold for months so I'll enjoy the warmth.

I haven't shut her down yet. Was mild today, low 50s, but wind was whipping.

mine is mostly on still, but in the last few days we were able to shut it off for a few hrs during mid day. Before that i hadnt shut my stove down in months except for a good cleaning.

It's nice staying warm and hardly using any pellets again. next time I shut mine down for a thorough clean will be the last one for the season and to moth ball it until next fall so I will spend some time and do a very detailed clean and such.

Funny, I still haven't had the time nor the need to install the PC45 this year. I was very pleased the P68 handled everything on it's own. This will give me ample time and next year I'll have it on line. Also more time to really plan out the optimum place. Things may change if I do an insert to replace the Lopi which was not used once all winter. The Lopi might be headed for retirement either replaced by a pellet stove or new wood insert. Not sure yet.

My stove is running right now, but I usually only run it 2 to three times a day for a couple of hours at a go. About 5 minutes ago my phone told me there is a winter weather advisory for the area today. Temps here haven't been above the low to mid 50's for a high for the last two weeks or so.

With statistical-average high's in the 60's F now, I'd figure that I'd rarely or never be using the stove by now, but had a "are you kidding?" moment over the weekend, my wife is a little bit sick and she wanted the stove on... 68F outside...

Well, I have plenty of pellets, so why not.
