I just replaced my single wall 6" SS liner system, and the new "T" is two pieces with a strap spot- welded to the snorkel. There are only a few welds on each side of the strap. My old one piece "T" was spot welded all the way around the union between the snorkel and body. Seems like the Two piece snorkel is just a couple of puny spot welds away from disaster.

Has anybody ever heard of a two piece "T" separating? I might just put the one piece back - it looks much stronger.
