First off, some of you may know that I purchased a new stove just over a month ago, this being the Ashley AP5660I.

The stove as a whole works very well, better than I had expected ! It heats my house very well and quickly when set on heat setting 4 or 5.

Within the first two weeks I came upon two small problems, the first was with the left and right cleanout panels that are behind the fire brick panels, the fire brick panels are held in place with a retainer plate which has a one screw for each at the top. In my attempt to remove these screws I was a little puzzled as to why the heads would shear off when trying to un-screw them, not just one screw, but both ! In my attempt to get these brick panels off, I ended up damaging them, also, the threaded part of the two screws were stuck fast in the metal panels.

I contacted United States Stove Company and explained my issue / problem. Two new metal panels, 2 new fire brick panels.

Package arrived within 4 days, but no brick panels, I called United States Stove Company to rectify the missing parts, and at the same time informed them of my second issue.

Now my second issue was with the burn pot, after two weeks of running the stove on heat settings 2, 3 and 4 the pot on the back edge warped inwards, this caused a bigger gap between the burn pot and the center fire brick, now I have pellets hitting the top edge at the rear and falling down behind the burn pot and not in it.

Today (15/12/14) my replacement parts arrived, all under warranty.

I would like to thank United States Stove Company for the superb customer service, a special thanks to Owen and Sherry for all the help that they provided, especially at this busy time of the year.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.

They couldn't buy the advertisement/goodwill you just posted about them on this website. Good for you, good for them! great outcome for all.

Now if they could just help the poster above you with the Vogelzang

I have to second this post. I have a USSC 6041 and every time I have an issue they are more than helpful. They have gone to great lengths to make sure that I have a properly functioning stove. After numerous attempts and several parts to fix a recurring problem they have decided to ship me a new stove to replace the one I have. I can't say enough how reassuring it is to know that a company still exist out there that makes a good product for a good price and they stand behind it. I have confidently recommended their products to several friends and family members.
