Updating a Whitfield Advantage to auto start ignition!

The stove in this example is a Whitfield Advantage Plus. These stoves come with an Igniter tube already installed with a pull out cap on the end of the tube behind the burn pot.
Just pull out the cap and use some self stick tape to afix the timing module to the bottom of the inside of the back of the stove. Then unscrew in the Igniter from the tube that it comes with and screw it onto the tube in the back of the stove. Use the 6 pin wire adapter, attach it to the control panel and plug in the stove’s wire harnes. Then plug the fuse holder with the 6.3 amp fuse into the timing bock and bingo. All done.
For the stoves like the Advantage II That do not have the Igniter tube already installed the kit comes with a tube that can be installed and the wire adapter for the 8 pin control panel.
The stove is much more convienent to start up now and replacing the Igniter in the future is not too hard.

Yes that is the price and it works so well I would get one while you still can!
Once that is installed, replacement igniters are easy to install and easy to get and as low as $99.95.

I bought my fire brick some 5 years ago. Cut a small piece.. 8 min later I have a fire... I paid some $4.00 for it in March.
