Last year the distribution blower on my us stove 5500m would make alot of noise at start up and quiet down after a little while. I figure barrings are getting bad. I was going to replace it this year but wow they are high. Where is the best place to order parts? Most places are $250 and up. I did see online Rural king has them for $189. This is way cheaper than any other place. Anyone here ever ordered from them?

Maybe see if a electric motor shop can replace the bearings and clean up the motor?

Well I took the motor apart tonight and got the barrings off. I ordered two from McMaster Carr for $6.00 each. Only issue I may have that I dont quite understand is the barrings that came off the blower have 627s on them. Thats what I ordered but they say they are 7mm hole and the ones I took off measure 6.5mm. But that's the number on the barring so I ordered them.Just hope they are right ones. Better than spending $250 for a new blower.

I am lucky in that there is a major supplier of bearings nearby and I just walk in. No cheap stuff either. Hate wasting the time to have to do the job twice.

Well I had to turn a .025 bushing on the lath cause the inside bore was bigger than the blower shaft it wasnt a big deal.Blower is smooth now. And only cost me $12 instead of $250.
