You can suck on the hose (caution a very very light amount of suck they are very sensitive)
and you should hear an auditable click.
The normal way to check if your stove will not feed pellets is to disconnect the 2 wires
and jump across them start your stove and check that pellets are feed. If the auger feeds
pellets most likely the vac. the switch is bad. Also check the hose for blockage, holes or splits.
and clean the nipple on the stove where the hose attaches.
