The air intake control lever underneath the front lip of my Vermont Castings Resolute Acclaim woodstove #2490 moves normally, left to right, but it no longer regulates the airflow into the stove. It seems like the valve is stuck in the widest “open” position allowing a constant stream of air to flow into the bottom of the stove. Can anyone advise what the best remedy might be to fix this air valve issue.

Already posted in main forum. This is an EPA stove.
