My 2490 stove once again needs to have the combustion package replaced. I am considering fabricating 3/8 plate steel replacement with all the holes and baffles duplicating the original. I havent found anyone aroud that has had any experience of doing this, just one fireplace guy that says all it does is direct the airflow and it should work with no problem. Any thoughts or guidance would be greatly appreciated. mac2
