Hi. i just decided to switch from my 20 + year old wood / oil furnace to new lp furnace. My question is can i vent my exhaust with pvc up the old chimney ? it is @ 25 feet to the top of the house... This would be the most convenient to do... thanks for any advise //

thats the way my parents furace was done

As long as it is a condensing furnace (90+ efficiency) and there are no other appliances on the chimney, it should be okay. Seems to me you might have a tough time making connections inside the chimney, but that isn't an insurmountable problem.
