So here is the situation. I am installing a new pellet stove in my living room. I have an uninsulated chase on the exterior wall that already contains my stainless steel chimney from my wood stove in the basement. taking the vent to the top of the chase would be a real chore (tight space to get your body up there). The question is "would running the vent up 5ft inside the chase and then coming out though the chase to termination cause me any problems?" Will I regret not taking the vent to the top of the chase (25ft).

Thanks
