Hello, I am about to install a Harman P43 with a Harman thimble with OAK in my new house.

In speaking with the dealer and looking at my clearances I am able to vent horizontally directly through the wall. This is ok for now, but I eventually plan on building a deck which will require the venting to be raised about 9“ to 12”. Given I want to cut as few holes in the SIP panels as possible for the thimble, I was wondering what folks here recommend.

My general thought was to install the T on the back of the stove, a 12” section of pipe and a 90 to determine the height for the thimble. That way i will meet the future clearances as well as have some wiggle room in the event a get a stove with a different vent height.

Any input is appreciated.

Thank you
