I'm looking to install the acclaim in place of an old zero clearance unit. Looking at the (broken link removed)it shows building wall shield's on each wall. If the alcove is metal studs and durock do I need the wall shields? Can I place insulation right up against the durock?

For the floor do I need to put durock on the floor then metal studs and a top layer of durock or just plywood, metal studs, then durock?
thanks
