Hello all,
We had a minor disaster with our beautiful Vermont Castings Resolute iii. The bottom hinge on the right hand door got broken off. There does not appear to be anyway to repair it. We are in search of a used right hand door if anyone has any clue as to where we could buy one. We do not really want to replace the entire stove. The door is no longer made of course. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

it might be repairable. post some pics. look around for old stove restorers.

Here are pictures of the stove and damaged door. Our ideal solution would obviously be to fix it or find a replacement door. Thanks for the input.

i think you should try to get it brazed. there are two hinges on the door, and doesn't have much natural load. it just has to be strong enough to swing and manage a little load. i had a resolute damper linkage that had a clean break brazed. turned out good and strong. look around for a shop like this: https://stovehospital.com
