Decided to start another thread on this.
Just heard back from Vt Pellets.
They are good with December 29th (Saturday) around noon.
Will need to get back to them with a number and final time.
PM me and I will keep a count.

Sounds GREAT. So who is going from Ct ? Like to set up a carpool to save on gas. Mapquest gives me A average travel time of 3.5 hours, so should probably leave by 8 Am, and pray weather is reasonable.

i'll confirm the date with the g/f, but i should be a go. in for splitting the commuting costs from ct, as discussed. if it's still not snowing and little chance of it being on the ground, i don't mind driving either. I can get about 30mpg on the highway in my car. but if there's a chance of snow being on the ground, it's best that i don't drive up there, even though i do have snow tires on the car.

BUMP !!! parker, are you getting commitments of who is going ?

LAST CALL. I have set up a tour of the Vermont Wood Pellet (North Clarendon, Vermont) plant for Dec 29th @ noon (+/_).
Have been asked how many will be there. So far I have 6 (including me).
Anyone else. Want to let them know this next week.

6 sounds decent. Jtakeman, you going ? And the CT count still at 2 ?

Haven't figured out how to PM Parker but 3 of us from the Albany area are good for the 29th. Appreciate you putting this together. Looking forward to it!

Thanks
John

Yeah, I need to get a trailer. I carried 25 bags in my SUV before reading that the cargo & occupants shouldn't exceed 950lbs. I'm 6'5" 250lbs plus 1000lbs of pellets traveling over Maine roads. Whoops.
