Vertical pipe through ceiling

So I am moving my stove from one location to another. It’s currently installed through an exterior wall and then vertical about 8’. Id like to put it in another location where it Would go vertical through the ceiling and then the roof. Can I use the wall thimble on the ceiling? I know I need flashing and storm collar. The wall thimble I have is a Selkirk piece. Is there anything else I would need?

I would rather have a selkirk ceiling support
It is made to do the job and meet code

Going to need an attic insulation shield. I’d definitely use a tee with a cleanout to come off your stove. I use Duravent so I can’t help you with any part numbers for Selkirk.

You will need a ceiling box that is designed yo support things and meet code

You don’t have to use a cathedral box. If your ceiling is flat, use a thimble, but definitely use a AIS. Plumbers strap in the attic will give you plenty of support.

I think Selkirk makes a flat ceiling box too btw.

I guess that’s a part of the equation not given yet. Are you going thru a flat ceiling 1st and then thru the roof or up thru a cathedral ceiling.

Flat ceiling and then roof. Distance from ceiling to roof is not much. Hopefully the AIS will fit.
