So did we! Sticking at 35 today, another front coming in tonight that is supposed to take us into the high teens at night.

going to be getting chilly here this weekend. If the wind blew any harder it would have snowed in missouri.

It's only a dusting, but I'm excited.

Same here. Definitely colder today.

Its about 25 degrees and we have about 4 inches on the ground. It wont be here long. It is supposed to get warm again and rain on Friday.

I started up the 1959 Gravely and plowed the driveway. There was no good reason to plow but I figured it might be my last chance to use it the way this winter is going.

We had "one whole squall". Lasted for about 30 seconds! Whoopie for winter! :-(

get ready for next week bout a 5-8 day cold spell coming here in new england
starting mon-tue

Talking single digits up this way next week....Like you getting the gravely tractor out will probably hit my stash of apple and hard hack just to say we burned some....

We had a squall today also....a dusting..I was excited.almost drove home to fire up my sleds....NOT!
damn cold thou!

Front number two just came through at 5:30. A little more snow and the winds shifted to NNE. Temp has dropped 5 degrees in 30 min. Next colder front comes thru tomorrow. Talking 20's tonight and teen tomorrow. We haven't seen teens here in many years. We'll do our best to get them the heck out of here and pass them on eastward, but it sounds like we'll be struggling to see the freezing mark for several days.

Was actually down to 32.5 when I went to school this AM, had frost on the ground and even a skim of ice on some of the puddles, amazing!

I actually had to wear my facemask for the *first* time this winter - normally I need the mask almost every day from early Dec. to mid-March....

I am finally done with the cord and a half in the old woodshed, and have started in on the six cords in the new shed This is mostly stuff that I split last year, much nicer than some of the old scroungy stuff in the other shed.

It's 20.1 outside this morning. It's going to be tough going out to warm up the old truck. Even tougher going from the nice warm truck through the parking lot at work. It's nice to actually see winter though. I was kinda worried that the maple sugar folks wouldn't be able to harvest any sap. I don't think I could handle seeing "Made in Chile or Made in Peru" on a tub of syrup.

There were people up here sugaring the last two weeks...supposedly was decent stuff

Had the stove going last night AND no smoke! whoo hooo. Looks like more rain and ugly stuff comming for the next 3 or so days, so will probably just keep it going. Then more warm spell. Can't wait till spring so we can get some average temps.

Its finally getting cold here. Looks like were getting a storm this weekend, with a little bit of everthing.

10:00 AM here and we have climbed up to 26 degrees.

Houston, winter has arrived. The forcast was for trace to 3", but mother nature wasn't listening. We ended up with 7" that fell within 4 hrs. Now it's 30 degrees and blowing hard from the north as the BC express blows in much colder, but dryer air. We're clocking 15 mph steady with 25 mph gusts. Very pretty, but very cold. So far only a few have ventured forth on our road. There's ice under the snow and the accident rate last night in the Seattle region has convinced most to stay at home.

One last shot of the Olympic Mountains which are now pure white. Nice to look at though I got a bit of snow dumped on me when I opened the skylight to take the shot.

Ahhh I can remember snow......at least I think I can. It's that white stuff that looks so pretty when it's comming down, then you cuss at it when you have to move it, then it turns all black and ugly looking just before it melts into a frozen pile that is there until spring! Yea, I remember now...... But still miss it, and the horses are looking around for it too, they are wondering what the heck happened this year too. Heavy coats, and no cold!

It looks like we are finally in for some snow starting tomorrow night or Saturday. It's been warm and this is first year I've had my pellet stove. It's about time I get to crank it up and see what it'll do.

Thanks wrench. I love the scout. Drove it on the road for many years, until it just got to much rust and parts started falling off, so once they fell off, they stayed off! Had a 75 before that all it had was 1 front seat and a boat gas tank in the front. Chains on all four, posi front/rear, never took out of 4L. Used it just for plowing and dragging out logs, worked great. Sure wish they still made them, but with better steel!
Sorry for going off topic.

Bondo© <---is jelous of all wrench's IH toys!
