North Carolina mountains. This tree was 95 feet tall and 20 inch diameter. Just up and died 4 years ago so I cut it down.

Dammit! That's what I thought. This tree died 4 years ago. I burn a lot of wood but, 4 years ago, I didn't know anything about ash.
I was burning oak, hickory, cherry, black walnut and, of course, locust.
I cut this tree down 4 years ago. Two days ago I had to cut it up to get it out of the way. I figured it might be ash.
I did get about two good wheel barrow loads from this tree but, it was 95 percent rotten. Wie schade.
