Hopefully the last post....can't figure out why I can't post more than 1 time in each post w/ pics.....oh well, here's the clean door & glass, and hopefully the fire pic right after....enjoy.

That's a LONG time, but I see your stove has the auto cleanout that pushes the excess ash down into the ash bin......my Astoria doesn't have that, as you know. But, as "scared" as I was to let it burn that long w/o cleaning, I was quite amazed (and happy) that the fire never got lazy, and I really didn't have to change the air control more than 1/2 of a "setting" (never had to go past "2".
