What type of pipe to use?

Hello- I wil be installing a small wood stove in my home. Can you tell me whether I need to use double walled or triple walled pipe. It will be passing through an attic and raised above the roof line.

Welcome. You will need class A high temp pipe for the chimney. This can come in double or triple wall configuration. For example: DuraVent's DuraPlus is their value line, it is triple wall, 6" pipe is 10" OD. Their premium line is DuraTech which is double-wall and 8" OD. Even if you don't use their pipe, DuraVent has good installation instructions on their website that are worth downloading. It's listed on the literature tab. Note that double-wall chimney is not to be confused with double or single wall connector pipe (aka stove pipe). That would be DuraVent DSP in their product line.
