New chapter to this saga..Hope you all are enjoying a winter story..last episode we left off here https://www.hearth.com/talk/threads/what-would-you-do-part-2.123368/ First I would like to thank Ray ( owner ) Ed ( Lead tech ) and Ralph ( my new best friend and tech). All of whom are with Stoves and Stuff in Pa. ( 3 locations). Pull up a chair and sit on the floor. Spoke with Ray this afternoon after He , Ed and Thelin conferenced a call. Thelin is not happy with the stove situation , wants to stand behind their product and asked that I give them one more shot. I have agreed ( better half told me I could ).
Thelin is shipping out all new parts, board, igniter, all but the fans to replace in the stove, sent today. Ed has been asked to set up the replacement as soon as received. We are also going for a 6 month extension on the warranty to get me through a full heating season. IF this does not work, Ray wants it pulled and we get another stove. Time will tell and I will let all know how things work out...I feel we are in a win, win situation and want to thank Stoves and Stuff for all they are doing.

I would feel comfortable with that. I had mentioned a warranty extension. Best of luck and hope not to hear anything but how well it has worked for a year.

I think he said all but the fans to be replaced with the deal.

The fans are the only thing not being replaced..So...something goes wrong..it will be the fans_g
 
Even though I'm sure you're very frustrated, it's nice your dealer is being so responsive, as well as Thelin. There are so many stories o this board of people just getting ignored and ignored when something goes wrong. It sounds like no matter what, this will work out for you.
 
newf, agree, All about attitude. I have been calm ,collective and just raised legitimate concerns. Never scream and yell. Always remember the squeaky wheel gets the grease. As it should be as a consumer, problems should be resolved in a satisfactory manner. As someone who has run a self employed business for years..50 great jobs can be brought down with 1 unhappy customer. We tend to listen to the bad..more than all the good.
 
Awesome!! That is good to hear. Hate to see that unit come out. It looks so good in there. My opinion one of the nicest Pellet Inserts in the industry!!
