Whats up with these Different BTU ratings ?

Well I think its best to be UL approved rather than nothing at all.

Like BeGreen said EPA is different more for emissions.

Likie Machria said UL is for Safety.

Looking at that list they cover a good wide range of things. May not be perfect but what is perfect in this world.
