This is why clueless people should stick with their regular furnace!!!

Interesting. Those holes are for intake for the glass airwash. I wonder why the heck the stuff is coming out of them.

Paging @stoveguy2esw . Call in the lobby for Mike Holton.

I'm wondering what else in not set up correctly (OAK / exhaust) ?

It's like there is blow back for this to happen, so my question(s) are ......

Does the exhaust have a cap on it ?

Venting into the wind ?

She tracked it down pretty well in part 2. Good question why the stuff is getting by the airwash into the intake tubes. Looks like no vacuum and the vacuum switch should have shut the stove down.

She does like to hear herself talk!

Hearth pad? We don't need no stinkin' hearth pad!

And those boards the stove is sitting on are non-combustible, too, I bet!

"It's all about safety."

And of course, it's the manufacturer's fault! Somebody better tell them they make an unsafe stove!

Lookout, cook stove tops maybe hot when in operation:(

I would love to see what kind of cluster cluck the venting is, and what the clearances on the back are. They have it sitting in front of a window, is the distance from the outlet to the opening portion of the window to code?
I would like to see the look on her insurance agents face if they saw her consumer advocate video.
There should be some kind of IQ test for people buying any wood burning appliance.

Soon to be " Darwin Award" nominee:eek:

The fire department and her insurance company need to be notified so they can get ready _g

Uh-oh, she's 30 miles from me, do you think that's too close?

I would have sworn that the unit was rusted out and that was where the stuff was coming from!

Looks like the bottom of the ash pit on the right hand side is rusted out to me. Just to the right of where the air wash hole is.
