I’m thinking of purchasing a heat actuated fan which sits on top of my Fisher Grandma Bear to divert some of the heat to the kitchen .

To be honest, those items are gimmicks that do not perform very well.
You'd be better off with a box fan blowing air into the room & moving
the warmed air out...
