Which way would it have fallen if I cut it?

Couple months ago this tree part (On the Right) shered off. Rest of it went couple days ago. Exactly 180 out. I was dreading cutting it and would have hired it done. God and the Wind did the job. Had to trim some branches and throw out of the way until snow is gone. That was easy. It was leaning to the right too. Tree went Left.

Gravity generally wins.....if the remaining side had some branches left on it, they should have dictated the direction. Wind will also win the direction if it's strong enough. Looking at the pics of the stump, it doesn't seem surprising? The holding wood is on the outside of the trunk generally.
