Hi ,
I have a wood burning stove with a 6" stove pipe connection.... where i am wanting to put it is in a Sun Room off the west side of my home.
It can be placed 6 inches from any combustible wall -- but the wall is 29Guage Steel siding. So i dont think i need a stove pipe shield the first few feet up from the stove.
And it will be straigt thru the roof -- no elbows or anything.
The Roof of the Sunroom is 3" Sturdy Foam with a layer of Aluminum on each side ---
My Question is -- what parts exactly Would I Need beginning from the Stove up to where the Chimney Cap will rest?
The Roof is also on a 3.5/12 pitch.....
I'd also like everything to be Stainless.....

Thanks for any help,

Kay

Welcome, kkched. Think about what the 29ga steel is mounted to in your CTC calcualtions. Once you go thru a ceiling, it should be class A chimney (most is stainless steel) to the raincap. Class A has 2" CTC and keeps flue gases hot to provide good draft and reduce creosote adhesion.
