I have a 5 gallon spackle bucket DIY lint trap and it works great. 10 times better than those small traps in the stores.

I have tried venting my dryer inside and have the tee setup to switch over. My problem is that the huge blast of humidity when I start the dryer causes a lot of condensation on the walls. Not just the walls but everything - furniture, artwork, etc and it has caused damage. I've tried various fan setups to distribute the moisture throughout the house faster but nothing has totally worked to prevent the condensation.

Yup that's why only in Utah, And even there i usually have windows open, when it's not winter.
The humidity in the house is usually between the teens to low 30's. The dryer might push it up 5% or so for a short time, with the windows closed.

I vent mine to the outside, but it’s a gas dryer. When I had electric, I also vented it to the outside.

Do you humidifier guys vent your dryers inside?
I do in Utah but only because it is so dry there.
Not me. My dryer is in a basement room. It vents right outside. My humidifier for the basement is in a big room where the stove is.

Having my 3rd fire of the year in the F400. After about an hour, The Temp in the adjoining room has gone up 4F and the Humidity also went up from 67% to 69%. Windows all closed and dehumidifier still running in basement. Hmmm. unusual.
