White oak and hickory

My neighbor down the road apiece is doing some bulldozer work to put up a new fence and he gave me a couple small white oaks, a little pin oak and a little hickory. Can't say no to that. Tried to upload pics but it keeps telling me their too large for server?

Nice, if you need the most heat out of the Oak/Hickory you should wait until 17/18 season.

In MS that may not matter as much

Me and you both. I got 2 cords of oak and hickory that's been marinating since 2012

I have no oak but some Shagbark that I'm hoping to burn next year. I can't wait to burn hickory! lol

There's only about 4 rounds of it to the far right. The rest is white oak and a few water oak. Pignut I believe
