Whitfield advantage blinking lights....

On my whitfield advantage stove my control panel lights are blinking. The auger still works while they blink and the stove stays burning. They will blink for about 5 minutes then stop blinking and they stay on like normal for about an hour then they blink again. I have replaced the low limit switch already. The serial number is 53308 and the date of manufacture is Aug of 92. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

When they are blinking is it every light, both heat level and convection or is it a specific number of lights? When it is doing this does the stove start burning in dead low despite what heat setting you had it at prior or is it burning normally?

The heat level and convection lights blink on whatever setting that I have them set at before they start blinking I can also adjust them when they are blinking. The auger light blinks like normal. The stove does burn low and once in a while will burn out when the lights are blinking. But the pellet feed does not stop.

It sounds like your stove is going into low burn mode. It thinks that a thermostat connected to the stove is satisfied and your home is up to temperature. Double check that your thermostat is working properly if you have one. If you have no thermostat then check that your jumper wires either on the back of the stove or on the control board are firmly in place and not loose.

Thank you very much I do not have a thermostat on my stove but I pulled the control panel out and sure enough the one side of my jumper wire was very loose and came off just by touching it. I built a new jumper wire and have the stove going now with no blinking lights yet. If I have any other problems I will be sure to ask here first.
